The customer advised that they had a leak in the saunders valve on a feed line that was worn out. By applying Rapp-it to the valve, it saved the plant over 6 hours in down time that it would have taken to come off-line and replace. The valve can now be scheduled for replacement during a planned outage.

SOLUTION

The customer reduced the pressure and cleaned and roughened the damaged area.
